The brand called “Les Tropéziennes par M. Belarbi” was created in the early 1980s in the hippest village on the French Riviera. The founder, Mr Belarbi who had been living in Saint-Tropez for nearly thirty-five years, had been developing original shoes over the years, inspired by local fashion. In 1982, the brand had its first best-seller: the Indian boot, available in twenty-three colours. In 1987, it was the turn of the “3004”, a retro-chic model for women, adapted the following year for men and children. In the early 1990s, “Les Tropéziennes par M. Belarbi” had four stores in Saint-Tropez, one in Megève, one in Courchevel and seven hundred resellers in France and around the world.

In 2007, “Les Tropéziennes par M. Belarbi” had an immediate success with two all-leather models: the Roman sandal (“Hic”) and the Tropezian sandal (“Hérisson”). They entered the canon of sandals, timeless and always in fashion.
“Les Tropéziennes par M. Belarbi” exist for a generation of people who grew up with globalisation and trade between nations. Travel and discovery are an integral part of self-accomplishment.
