COMMITTED TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

Promote the integration and retention of people with disabilities in employment

The Eram Group has been committed for many years to diversity and the inclusion of people with disabilities. Our action aims to support every employee affected by disability, whether they work in a store, in our offices or in a logistics centre. To accelerate the deployment of our disability policy, we have set ourselves two main objectives:
  • Keep all employees affected by a disability in employment
  • Increase the number of recruitments of people with disabilities

The Group also wishes to contribute to the well-being of all its customers by facilitating access to its stores and websites.

Our concrete actions

TAKING ACTION WITH MISSION HANDICAP

Created 8 years ago, the role of the Eram Group’s Mission Handicap is to publicise and develop the group’s disability policy among all employees.

“We are a team of about ten multi-brand referents. Our role is to raise awareness of disability among the Group’s employees through various actions and thereby remove taboos.
We also support employees who wish to apply for recognition as a disabled worker.” – explains Mathilde Lagarde, Mission Handicap Manager.

STAYING IN EMPLOYMENTI

The Group is committed to keeping employees affected by disability in employment. Our commitment drives us to come up with the most appropriate measures to improve and facilitate their daily lives (provision of suitable equipment, skills assessment, financing of training, etc.).

“In order to continue working and to feel useful in society, I obtained a 50% adjustment of my working hours: two hours less per day and some days worked as half days, as well as longer lunch breaks. As a result, my tasks and workload are adapted to my disability”explains one Group employee.

INTEGRATING DISABLED PEOPLE

At the beginning of 2022, the Eram Group carried out a diagnosis on disability with AGEFIPH. This support enabled the Group to build an action plan and to set a goal to have 4% of its workforce made up of workers with a disability by 2025 . Some actions have already been introduced to help achieve this:

  • Publication of all our job offers on the Agefiph website
  • Development of closer relationships with local Cap Emploi offices
  • Development of the use of internships and work/study training

DEVELOPING ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL OUR CUSTOMERS

The Eram Group wants to facilitate access to its stores and e-commerce sites for all its customers with disabilities.

  • Today 80% of our stores are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
  • Our goal: 100% of our stores accessible to people with reduced mobility by 2024.

And to facilitate access and allow better browsing for all: 100% of the e-commerce sites of the group’s brands are accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing thanks to the Elioz. platform
