Act with integrity and build sustainable relations

“We believe that the success of our Group is closely linked to its history, its culture and the values on which it relies, today as in the past, to pursue its development. My family, which has been at the head of this Group since 1927, has always been committed to a humanistic and loyal approach in its choices and its relations with the Group’s customers, employees and partners. We believe that building lasting relationships and acting with integrity is the only way to build trust between a company and its stakeholders..”

— Xavier Biotteau, CEO, Eram Group

Our concrete actions

CODE OF ETHICS

This Code of Ethics is the reference text to inspire the choices and guide the daily actions of the Eram Group and its subsidiaries.

DUTY OF CARE PLAN

In line with our CSR commitments and in application of the law on the “duty of care”, the Eram Group has drawn up this duty of care plan with the aim of identifying risks and preventing serious violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms, health, personal safety and the environment.

SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS & RESPONSIBLE PURCHASING LABEL

Gémo has been awarded the “Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing” label for three years. It wishes to continue its responsible commitment by renewing its application for the label in 2023 for the same period. This label aims to distinguish French companies that have demonstrated sustainable and balanced relationships with their suppliers.

By 2022, all Group brands will be signatories to the Responsible Supplier Relationships Charter, which aims to:

  • Encourage companies to adopt responsible purchasing practices with regard to their suppliers
  • Develop a balanced and sustainable relationship with their suppliers

This charter is based on 10 responsible commitments:

HEALTH PROTECTION AND CUSTOMER SAFETY

Our daily commitment is to guarantee the absence of health risks when using our products. This is at the heart of the trusting relationship between our customers and us.

Like many products, shoes and clothes contain chemicals which provide the qualities expected by our customers such as waterproofing, resistance, fireproofing, easy ironing, etc…

The role of our quality department is to limit and check these substances to preserve the health of our customers and the environment.
